Dear Members, 

The 79th JCM convened today in Kolkata with the esteemed presence of Honorable Director (HR), ED Chief ER, Chief HRD, CMS, and senior HR officers.

 In a compelling address, Honorable DHR articulated the challenges that lie ahead and painted a visionary roadmap for ONGC in the coming days. DHR urged collective efforts towards increased production and the holistic development of our organization. 

Our team had the privilege to contribute by submitting valuable inputs and suggestions aimed at advancing the overall development of the organization. 

Throughout the day, significant discussions took place, and we are pleased to share the following meeting highlights. For detailed information, please await updates from respective General Secretaries in their Work Centers.

 1. Management has agreed to convene the 1st meeting of R&P very shortly. 

2. After extensive level of resentment from Unions, Management has agreed to review the burning issue of Class IV Fire Personnels in a FASTRACK MANNER.

 3. Pay fixation of employees who were reappointed to higher post from W level to A level and A level to F level is agreed to consider.

 4. Introduction of W-VIII level under Class IV category including S5 and S6 level for mitigation of stagnation issue, shall be discussed and finalized in R&P meeting.

 5. Management agreed to incorporate Job related trainings to unionized category employees to gain competency and skill in Annual Training Calendar of ONGC. AIOTUCC has flagged the concern of Air Facility to employees if training order is issued in a short notice. Management has noted the concern.

 6. Car Advance and Car CMRE for all unionized employees – In light of DPE and Audit Observations extension of Car Advance and Car CMRE to all Unionized Category employees were discussed at length. Discussion ended with a positive note.

 7. Difference of various welfare measures between E and S cadre were discussed and Management agreed to address the discrepancies.

 8. Positive news on unfreezing of IDA is expected shortly.

 9. Refund of Self Lease and HRR for all Unionized Employees agreed by Management. 

 10. Management agreed to modify existing TA regulations in totality.

 11. Monthly Data Card ceiling will be revised. 

12. Agreed to extend the working tenure of TBFO upto 60 years. Discrepancy of Wage Revision shall be addressed shortly. 

 13. Suggestion for fixing of Medical Bills Criss Cross ceiling upto 20 K was considered to review for implementation at respective work centers.

  14. Safety Shoes: Management has agreed to provide quality safety shoes and would shortlist some reputed brands for procurement. 

 15. Extension of Medical Facility to departmental candidates irrespective of 15 years regular service period shall be considered.  

 16. A meeting shall be convened shortly with all Recognized General Secretaires to discuss various pending issues.

  17. DHR has agreed to address various pending issues of WOU at local level and instruction has been issued accordingly.
